Kharge accuses PM of provoking voters with 'bulldozer' remark, calls for EC action
In a distressing incident, the lifeless body of a 42-year-old woman, identified as Bhagwanti alias Bhagwati, was discovered on the side of the National Highway Jhansi-Khajuraho near village Barua Maaf. Mauranipur police promptly initiated an investigation into the matter upon receiving information about the grim discovery.
Family members of the deceased allege that Bhagwati's death may be linked to a dispute with her husband, Ramesh, a resident of Bangra. Reportedly, tension arose as a recent court decision favored Bhagwanti in an ongoing legal disagreement between the couple. The family suspects foul play, suggesting a possible conspiracy leading to her demise.
According to village sources, Bhagwanti had gone to bhandara for work the previous day and later proceeded to Mauranipur to buy vegetables. There, she encountered her husband Ramesh, and it is reported that she left with him but did not return home that night. Her lifeless body was discovered on the roadside the following morning.
SP Rural Gopinath Soni assured that appropriate action would be taken based on the post-mortem report, emphasizing an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding Bhagwanti's death. Mauranipur police reached the scene promptly, taking possession of the body and initiating necessary proceedings.
